Here are some miscellaneous classes I helped create and taught
Ecology by Whom? Ecology for Whom?
An Ethics Course
Instructor and Course developer / Winter 2026
As scientists, we must acknowledge that ecology is shaped by our society’s normative values and, in turn, is used to justify these same values. This course explores ethical ideologies, professional responsibilities, and the impact of ecological research on society and the environment. Using interdisciplinary frameworks, we aim to explore the two questions: Who is ecology by? Who is ecology for?

Chocolate DeCal
Instructor and Course developer / Spring 2019
The DeCal program at Berkeley allows students to take student-taught classes on unconventional topics. Chocolate is the perfect lens through which we can study topics ranging from the agricultural effects of climate change to food business. As the course creator and instructor, I organized discussions, guest speakers, and field trips.
